It’s safe to say that 95% of my InstaStories right now are of Lily, my little urban garden, and Lily eating my garden. She has gotten SO much attention from you guys and everyone seems to get the biggest kick out of her enjoying her all day buffet on the patio (aka eating my garden) while I put the poor pup on InstaStories blast. I’m glad that my garden brings her, me, and you guys all so much joy…I never knew it would serve so many purposes.
With all this newly garnered attention that Lily has been getting I thought it would be the perfect time to give her a proper introduction here on amberpizante.com. She did sort of get an introduction in the Lily on Serena and Lily post and in this Frenchie Friday post when I was trying to make Frenchie Friday a thing….I should maybe try and do that again! Now I may be biased but I think French Bulldogs are the cutest, sweetest, and quirkiest little pups around. French Bulldogs love to be part of the “pack” and nothing makes them happier than being with their humans, Lily is no exception to this. If you’re both sitting on the sofa, it’s guaranteed that she will move next to you because she insists on touching. Where you go in the house, Lily is sure to follow!

Lily is the first dog I’ve ever had and now I can’t remember what life was like before her. I used to be one of those people who didn’t understand when people would say they considered their pets part of the family because I never had that experience growing up. Now, our life sort of revolves around Lily and she is absolutely part of the family (our Christmas cards can attest to that). I swear she’s picked up parts of our habits and quirks. For example, Ryan always loves to have a late night snack….well guess who also eats late at night?! Yep, Lily does!
It’s amazing how much you can love such a small pup and how much love she is capable of giving back. She is the sweetest little thing there could be and nothing makes her happier than being with Ryan and I as much as she can. She knows both of our moods; when they are good, bad, and somewhere in between. On bad days she can sense it and she turns on her sweet charm so you just can’t help but smile with how cute and sensitive she is to your feelings. Dogs really are incredible creatures!
Do you all have beloved furry family members in your life?! I’d love to know what they’re personalities are like!
