Can you guys believe that it’s one week until Thanksgiving?! I can’t even begin to wrap my head around how quickly this year has gone <– even though I probably say that every year. I love the holiday season starting with Halloween all the way to New Years. I especially love the excuse that the holidays give me to decorate. I dream of the day when I get to host a holiday at my own home when we have more space one day. For now, it’s designing pretty tables like this Thanksgiving tablescape for the blog.
Even when the day comes that we get to host a Thanksgiving I think my domain will still only be designing the Thanksgiving tablescape. I’ve faced the reality that when I cook it usually leaves a little something to be desired. So I’ll stick to my strengths of designing and let Ryan handle the cooking.
I’m so excited to share this Thanksgiving tablescape with you all because I love how it turned out, especially the colors! I’m beginning to think I should start a floral side gig because this arrangement turned out pretty darn cute **anyone want to hire me??** When I bought these vintage pink and indigo glasses I never thought I would use them as much as I do. Turns out, pink and indigo are basically neutrals in my book, haha! This J. Crew Factory scarf made for the perfect runner, and the colors in it are all the heart eye emojis!!
I can’t lie, this Thanksgiving tablescape will probably be the last non-Christmas post on the blog for the remainder of the year. My Christmas decor is going up this weekend and the pumpkins are getting packed away. While I love my pumpkins, but nothing compares to the glow of a Christmas tree. We’re going to be gone for Thanksgiving so I want to get everything up early so that we can come home and enjoy it. I even opted for a fake tree this year, we’ll see how that one turns out!
What are your plans for Thanksgiving?! Hosting, going somewhere? I’d love to know!
