Wanderlusting

Happy Friday, Friends! How was your week?! Mine was a little bit crazy yet also a little calm with a more than healthy dose of wanderlusting for a new adventure.

I’m heading to Disneyland next week with some friends and I’m SO excited! Even though I’m excited to go to the, “Happiest Place on Earth” I still find myself longing to go somewhere new that I haven’t been before.

I’m chalking it up to the crappy weather that we just can’t seem to shake up here in the Bay Area.

** Your girl cannot deal with anymore rain at this point in the year!**

Dear Mother Nature, we’re good with water, so, please send ample amounts of sunshine!

While I would love to escape this crummy weather and take a tropical vacation to somewhere like Bora Bora, we are saving our pennies to travel to France next year (a trip to Paris happens to be what I would consider my “dream trip”).  I have all the “heart eye” emojis for everything that is Parsian and can’t wait to finally visit this swoon worthy city.  We may not be traveling out of the country this year but there are still plenty of places in the U.S. to see that we haven’t yet.

After picking a few cities that we haven’t been to, we decided to book a trip to Austin, Texas at the end of May.  I’m no stranger to Texas (Ryan went to college there) but I’ve never been to Austin and hear nothing but great things! So, it looks like this girl is going to have to gather up her dusty cowboy boots and get them ready for Austin!

Any-who, if you happen to be in a part of the world that is currently experiencing crummy weather, then these pictures are for you (and of course, my little wanderlusting heart). All of these pictures are places that are currently on my bucket list of places I’m dreaming of visiting one day.

Now that all my Christmas decor is finally down 🤣 I have the urge to freshen things up around the house to kick off the New Year! I started with the base layer of our bedding, the sheets. These sheets from @cariloha are so unbelievably soft and smooth! Just like my favorite towels, these are also made out of the viscose from bamboo. If you’re looking to freshen up your home too or just want new sheets (or towels) I have a 20% off code for you: AMBERP20. #cariloha #sponsored
